Exploring The City of Angels Through My LA Photo Diary

LA Photo Diary - Pasadena

Exploring LA Photo Diary

Los Angeles

I loooove LA, so any excuse for me to go gets me on a plane! This time I had a valid excuse –  one of my good friends was tying the knot. I asked my boyfriend to join me since he had never been to LA; we added San Francisco to our itinerary to visit his friends as well. Check out my San Francisco Photo Diary here.

Our time was short in LA so we only visited the areas that were on my boyfriend’s must-see list, including an adventurous overnight stay in Joshua Tree (highly recommend it if you have extra time.)

Rodeo Drive

After watching so many American movies, how can a Frenchie not visit Rodeo Drive and a grab quick bite at Urth Cafe?

Santa Monica Pier

A fun and lively place to spend the day and perfect to watch the sunset.

After rumbling through the busy city vibe, Pasadena feels like a little oasis. We grabbed lunch at the beautiful Langham Hotel and we got a little visitor! If you want to get afternoon tea with a beautiful selection of savory tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, fruit tarts, mousse torts and French macaroons along with a variety of the finest teas, this is the place. The perfect addition to anyone’s LA Photo Diary 😉

Joshua Tree

Spend a night or two in the corky town of Joshua Tree and drive to the park to catch the sunset and spend quality time stargazing. For more Joshua Tree’s pictures, check out my Joshua Tree road-trip adventure post here. I always love the drive to Joshua Tree. There is something about the landscape, I can’t get enough.

My recommendation is: rent an Airbnb apartment and spend a few nights in town. You won’t regret it!

  1. […] SF is one of those places that looks like it’s not a big deal but after visiting and living there, people can’t get enough of it.  How can you not love amazing food, friendly people, fun and convenient transportation system, and amazing forests within driving distance? This amazing city offers something for everybody. Check out my San Francisco Photo Diary! For part I of this trip, check out my LA Photo Diary Post here. […]
