What to Pack For Barcelona In November - December 2025
Barcelona’s style stays effortlessly chic, with comfort and personality at the core. As winter sets in, locals turn to heavier layers such as jeans, pants, and longer skirts paired with sweaters, warm jackets, coats, and scarves. Dresses are still common but often styled with tights and boots. This packing guide is ideal for mid November through December, when cooler temps and crisp air call for warmer outfits without losing that polished Barcelona look.
Weather in Barcelona
From mid November through December, Barcelona turns cooler but still pleasant compared to much of Europe. Daytime highs usually range from 57 to 62°F, with evenings dropping into the mid 40s. A warm jacket is needed, especially at night. Sunshine is common, though cloudy days and light rain show up more often.
Quick Barcelona Wear Guide:
Daytime: Cool but comfortable. Wear jeans, pants, or longer skirts with sweaters and a jacket you can keep on.
Evenings: Chilly. A warm jacket, sweater, or even a coat will make nights out more comfortable.
Rain-wise: Expect more cloudy days and occasional showers, so bring a compact umbrella or rain jacket.
Beach: The sea is cold. Skip the swimwear and plan for seaside walks or cozy cafés.

Thermal Clothing
My secret to staying warm on winter trips is the Uniqlo Heattech line. I wear it all the time in the winter, and it’s the first thing I pack when I travel to colder places. The fabric is designed to trap heat by turning your body’s moisture into warmth, which makes a huge difference when you’re out exploring all day.
There are three levels: Heattech, Extra Warm, and Ultra Warm. I mix and match depending on the weather. Sometimes I wear one under a sweater or jacket, and on the coldest days, I even layer two Ultra Warm tops. They’re so thin and stretchy that I never feel bulky, just comfortable.
For me, these tops are non-negotiable on any fall or winter packing list. I’ve recommended them to so many friends, and they all love it.

Pack comfortable shoes that you can walk all day! My recommendation is to pack two to three pairs of shoes but no more. Make sure to at least pack one pair of comfortable sneakers and one pair comfortable low heel boots or flats.

Best Travel Luggage - Tried and Tested
I’ve been using Away luggage for almost ten years and have taken it all over the world. I’ve dragged it over countless cobblestones, stuffed it to the brim, and it’s still incredibly durable. The zipper holds strong, the wheels roll smoothly, and all three of my Away suitcases are still in great condition. Pair it with packing cubes to stay organized. If you are traveling with carry-on only, get the compressing packing cubes. I have the Away Carryon and the Away Medium Luggage.
For a personal bag, I recommend the Dagne Dover Landon in Medium. It fits perfectly under the seat, has a luggage sleeve that slides securely onto the Away carry-on, is super lightweight, and easy to wash. I love it so much I convinced my friend Christie, also a travel blogger, to get one. Now she takes it everywhere too. Another favorite is the Longchamp Le Pliage. It’s incredibly lightweight and holds a ton. While it doesn’t have a luggage sleeve, I simply slip the handles over my suitcase handle and it works perfectly. Honorable mention goes to the Longchamp Le Pliage L Travel Bag. I love packing it in my carry-on in case I shop and can’t fit everything in my luggage. It’s so lightweight and compact that it adds no extra weight.
